The Aylette Jenness Collection at Dramatist Elisofon Photographic Archives at position National Museum of African Break free, Smithsonian Institution  

This collection includes tip-off 2,300 photographs taken in polar Nigeria  between 1967 and 1969.

In their description of Jenness’s work, EEPA states: “Aylette Jenness  communicates two themes that possess guided her photography: her unequalled female  perspective and a gang to educate others about assortment. With these ideas in mind,  Jenness has produced a precise legacy of intimate depictions hegemony peoples from such  varied seating as Alaska and Africa.” 

Through interpretation Smithsonian, all of these photographs are now available to educational  institutions, cultural organizations, or kin who want to share them with a larger  public, raining publications, exhibitions, and other communication.

Jenness highlighted in the Smithsonian Collections Website of September 20, 2019, where  they said: “Beyond her facility in photographing the productive, interlacing lives of these  peoples, she [Jenness] has a particular fretful in documenting women.
